Liquor
The board members discussed a county wide Catering Liquor License.
This gives an individual the option to serve liquor with any catering event. The village would not have any control over the event. A catering liquor license would run $500.00 per year and the village would need to adopt an ordinance to have such a license added to our current liquor ordinance.
Allowing such a license to be used affects local business sales and taxes generated for the village. The board recommended that we get more information before any more discussion is made.
Old Business
President Knoup informed the board that we would be eligible for County grant money for cleanup of the old station gas tanks.
New Business
It was noted that Jim Henry needs to cleanup his property on S. Main St.
A letter will be sent informing him that he will have 10 days or the village will do the cleanup at his expense.
Motion to adjourn at 7:55 pm by Larry. Second by Todd.
Motion carried.
