Motion second by Larry. Motion carried. This bill will be paid from the Public Benefit fund.
There are two trees marked for removal within the village limits. Both trees are dead and need to come down.
The County reserves will not be helping with the parade this year; instead the board members will assume traffic control.
WATER & SEWER
The EPA has discovered an open well at the old creamery. Since this discovery we will be paying an extra $1,266.36 for testing. EPA will reimburse this extra cost if the well is capped. The building is in the process of getting sold and discussion surrounded the issue of whether
The current owner should cap or if the board should bear the cost and cap the well ourselves. The board would like to see an agreement between the owner and the village to share the cost, with the village furnishing the labor. President Knoup will find out the exact cost of capping and report at the September meeting.
Jim reported that there are four hydrants which we will need to replace soon.
CEMETERY
The committee reported that there has been one more memorial tree sold.

Old Business
Discussion was again brought forward to Jim Henry regarding his intentions on the old gas station. The village is considering making an offer to Jim for the building/lot. The board will look into grant funding for removal of the old tanks and cleanup of the soil since any new ownership will be mandated to remove the tanks.
New Business
Rob has reported that the township is bringing in tree waste for us to burn. This is not acceptable and they will be told not to dump at the village building.
