Call to order at 7:00 pm by President Knoup.
Members answering roll call: President Knoup, Todd Brinkmeier, Jim Westaby, Brian Schiess, Dave Dixon, Larry Johnson, Jamie Melville and Cheryl Liebenstein.
The minutes from the August meeting were reviewed and accepted without dissent by Jim.

The Committee made a motion for approval to pay all bills.

It was reported that Media Com will need to repair a hole they created during repairs on Dori Dr. The hole has been open for more than 30 days.
Streets & Alleys
The committee has requested that we contact Com-Ed regarding the removal of a pole on Goldmine and Rt. 73. President Knoup will contact Com-Ed.
WATER & SEWER
Fehr & Graham has announced that the Village of Harmon has let bids for the removal of the old tower. It should be taken down this fall yet.
The committee noted that the new roof for the generator building with steel sheeting will be approximately $290.00. Will replace the roof later this fall.
The Illinois Water Association helped Rob to find a leak on a hydrant and reported that they will come back and check the whole village, without charge, since we are a member.
Two residents needed to pump water continuously from their basements until the leak was found. The committee has requested that we give them a one month credit from their water bill. The committee made a motion to give two residents a one month water service credit. Motion second by
Todd. Motion carried. Jim will sign the water bills for these residents for acknowledgement of credit.
The committee was requested to check all hydrants to make sure they are up to date and to note any hydrants that will need to be replaced.

Liquor
Bo-Co has been summoned to appear before the Illinois Liquor Commission in Chicago regarding their ticket for selling alcohol to a minor.
Old Business
The environmental report noted that the window caulking at the gas station revealed asbestos and will need to be removed prior to the demolition of the building. Once the windows have been removed, we can let bids for the building removal.
President Knoup brought forward Matt Diehl as an interested person to fill a vacancy on the board. Roll call vote was taken to accept Matt as a board member. Todd-yes, Jim-yes, Larry-yes, Dave-yes, Brian-yes. Let the record show 5-yes, 0-no.
Thomas Jacobs Office approved the revitalization grant for Koning’s, with a payout of $756.00 per year for 4 years.
Jim noted that he briefly spoke with Terry Groves regarding a storm siren system and Terry suggested that we go with weather radios. Jim will contact Groves for a more in-depth discussion and check for any grants that may be available.
The State has cleaned the ditch on HWY 73 due to standing water, but noted that the tube needs to be cleaned yet.
New Business
Complaint was brought forward on a property on North St. regarding weeds and lawn not being mowed. A registered letter will be sent giving a 5 day notice for mowing before the village steps in and mows.
