Call to order at 7:00 pm by President Mat

Members answering roll call, President Diehl, Bob Asche, Bob Knoup, Mike Tichler, Kirk Knoup, Dave Dixon, Cheryl Liebenstein and Jamie Melville.

The minutes from the November meeting were reviewed and accepted without dissent by Bob A. Second by Kirk. Motion Carried.

Dave made a motion to pay all bills as presented with the addition of the FNH cement bill.  Motion second by Bob A.  Motion carried.

Bob K made a motion to approve the treasurer report as presented. Second by Kirk. Motion carried.

Visitor

Derek Thompson, Fehr Graham, was present to review our ongoing projects. He noted the building for Well #3 arrived and is anchored and weather proofed. They are now working on the inside to install cabinets and countertops.  The overhead garage door is due to arrive in early December.  Work may be delayed as the electricians are in Covid restrictions at this time.

Com-Ed has agreed to lower the cost of the electric pole rental.

The railing for the building, along with the generator will be delivered in the spring.  Derek suggested that we put up safety barricades along the building until the railing is installed.

Derek will take the bills for the Com-Ed grant to the office to have the grant completed for the Prairie Area.

WATER/SEWER

STREETS/ALLEYS/LIGHTS/SIDEWALK

The village is ready for winter plowing. Bob A noted that small repairs were made to the wooden bridge to get it by until spring when it will be replaced.

 BUILDINGS/GROUNDS

Kirk reported that Tina Endress is OK with the village using the donated money for trash cans or even signs that state what is growing in the Prairie area.  He will look into the cost for both.

There are still campers using the campground.  Kirk has collected the monthly fee from them.

 FINANCE/TIF FINANCE

The board members reviewed the Tax Levy and it was noted that totals were increased by 5%.

Motion was made by Dave to approve the Tax Levy as presented.  Motion second by Mike.  Roll call vote as follows: Bob A-yes, Bob K-yes, Mike-yes, Kirk-yes, Dave-yes. Let the record show 5-yes, 0-no and 1-absent.

POLICE

The officers will need to start watching vehicles when it snows.  Rob reported many more people are parking on the streets which is making it difficult to get the plows through to clean snow.

The Fire Department would like to close streets for parking during the Light Parade.  They will be contacting the County Reserves for extra help on December 18th.

New Business

The January meeting will be held on Monday the 3rd as regularly scheduled.

Motion was made by Bob A to go into executive session, at 7:25pm, for the purpose of employee reviews.  Motion second by Dave.  Motion carried.

 Motion was made by Dave to return to regular meeting session at 7:50. Motion second by Kirk.  Motion carried.

Dave made a motion to increase Rob’s wages to $29.00 per hour and increase the clerk and treasurer $400.00 per year.  Motion second by Bob A.  Motion carried.

All wage increases are effective January 1, 2022.

Motion to adjourn at 7:55 by Bob A. Motion second by Kirk.  Motion carried.
