Call to order at 7:00 pm by President Mat

Members answering roll call, President Diehl, Bob Asche, Bob Knoup, Mike Tichler, Kirk Knoup, Tim Martens, Cheryl Liebenstein and Jamie Melville.

The minutes from the December meeting were reviewed and accepted without dissent by Bob K. Second by Bob A. Motion Carried.

The minutes from the TIF Joint review meeting were reviewed and accepted with the correction of removing the PC Fire District from list of TIF intergovernmental agreements.  Motion was made by Bob A.  Second by Tim. Motion carried.

The committee made a motion to pay all bills as presented. Motion second by Bob K.  Motion carried.

Bob K made a motion to approve the treasurer report as presented. Second by Kirk. Motion carried.

Maintenance Report

Rob has requested that the board reimburse him for his required continuing education.  He needs 30 hours for Water and 15 hours for wastewater. The board has approved his request. 

Rob noted that the school has put in a water hook up for watering the softball field.  The board has approved not to charge them for the hook up fee.

Visitor

Rob reported that the well house stairs have been installed and that the electric is complete. Internet is ready and the sinks and water heater have been installed. Still waiting for the well driller to install the submersible pump and column piping.

WATER/SEWER

STREETS/ALLEYS/LIGHTS/SIDEWALK

Bob has obtained two copies of parking ordinances to look at regarding semi/large vehicles parking on streets. The committee will look into the ordinances and bring suggestions back to the board.

It was suggested that Rob and Gary put notices on vehicles during snow removal since we do not always have an officer on duty.

 BUILDINGS/GROUNDS

Kirk reported that we need to spend the total $10,000 for the grant before they will honor it. We can use the remaining grant amount for gravel for the pathways. We will order and get an invoice before delivery so that we can close out the grant.

CEMETERY

The police will need to meet with the committee regarding ordinances.

New Business

President Mat noted that the minimum wage is now $12.00 per hour.  Will discuss wages during our summer hiring.

Cheryl brought forward four executive session meeting minutes that should be opened to the public.  All four was associated with land acquisition. (10/2/2000, 5/7/2001, 11/3/2003, 7/5/2010)

Bob K made a motion to release the four executive session minutes.  Motion second by Bob A.  Motion carried.

President Mat also reported that June 19th (Juneteenth) is now a Federal Holiday.  After discussion of this holiday the board members have determined that the village will not add it to our list of paid holidays.

Mike noted that the Hazard Mitigation plan is out for community survey.

He also noted that he was contacted by Green Rails and that they will be adding our walking path and Dog Park to their brochures.

We have concerns regarding the dog park and if there will be grass in the spring.  For now, we will wait until spring to see.  May have to do a division of the yard and replant one side at a time.
