Lions Club-Jon Rosensteil was present to discuss the community sign at the Legion Hall. The Lions club would like to update and renovate the sign. At this time, they are only looking at different options such as replacing as is or investing in a newer version of a digital sign. They have looked at a digital/letter board combo style that would run anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000.
Discussion then turned to possible fund raisers or asking assistance from the Village and various other clubs who may be interested in helping with the cost.
The Village board noted that they are interested in working with the Lions Club on this project and also showed an interest in getting access to add the Village’s own messages.
