Call to order at 7:00 pm by President Knoup.

  Members answering roll call: President Knoup, Mat Diehl, Bob Asche, Bill Eaton, Dave Dixon, Larry Johnson and Cheryl Liebenstein and Jamie Melville

 The minutes from the December meeting were reviewed and accepted without dissent by Mat.

Second by Bill. Motion Carried.

 The Committee made a motion to pay all bills as presented, with additions and corrections added. Second by Bob. Motion carried.

 Motion to approve the treasurer report as presented, by Mat.

Second by Bill. Motion carried.

 No transfer of fund needed

 Financial Report

Mat has contacted the bank regarding loan options for the Sewer Upgrade project. The bank will be meeting on the 14th and will bring options back to us for the February meeting.  We are looking at an $800,000 to $900.000 loan.

 Streets & Alleys

 Complaints have been received regarding sidewalks in town not being shoveled. Committee will post reminders and ordinance on line regarding snow removal from sidewalks.

 WATER & SEWER

Dave spoke with the State’s Attorney and confirmed that the County is handling the well issue.

CEMETERY

The cemetery CD comes due in February and will transfer it to a money market account.  Jamie is to payback the general fund what is owed from the cemetery.

The committee will be looking at raising the prices for plots.

 BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS

President Knoup approved the installation of cameras in the building due to a break in and damage to property.  Cost to the Village is approximately $400.  The cameras can be set to feed to a cell phone if board members are interested.  The new file cabinet has been ordered for the office.  The committee will need to order a new cabinet for the police room.

 Police

Low number of hours worked in December.  Larry will speak with Fred regarding more hours for coverage.

Have complaints of cars not being moved so that Rob can plow.  Suggest that Rob write tickets while he is plowing.  The committee will need to write a policy to enforce the ordinance.  Motion was made by Bob to allow Rob to write tickets while he is plowing for cars that have not been moved.  Motion second by Bill.  Motion carried.  Rob will talk to Fred for information needed when issuing a ticket.

 Still waiting for final; approval from FEMA for the Flood buy-out.

 New Business

 Fehr-Graham will be at our February meeting to give updates on the Buy-Out and the Wastewater Improvement project
