The bill for Loberg will be charged to Verizon, as the Village discovered Verizon had run the fiber optic line through the sewer system, which caused the clog in the system.

 Streets & Alleys

Brian inquired if the board wanted to do another Motor Fuel Tax project.

He suggested that we incorporate curb and gutter with sidewalks in the subdivision.  Brian will follow up with Fehr & Graham to do a study for cost estimates on this project.  Will also look to get a new 5-10 year street plan for blacktop streets instead of seal coat.

President Knoup had tentative mapping plans for the new street for the Fire Station.  We will need to get easements from the Elevator to run the storm sewer.

The committee also wanted to look at new curb and gutter with sidewalk from Devore St to the Laundromat on Main St. This project will need approval from the State.

 WATER & SEWER

The committee had the sewer lines videotaped at Drane’s on South St.

The tape is showing tree roots and some possible damage at several sites.

It looks like most of the problem is on the Street side, but will not know the extent of damage until it is dug up.  Suggest digging up street side to home owner property line.  This will have to be done in the spring.

 CEMETERY

It was noted that one of the flags at the cemetery was ripped.
