 VISITORS

Several students attended the meeting for extra credit from Mr. Downs Civic class.

The Park District was present to request help determine which trees to remove at Mill Pond and which to keep.  The board members feel that since the Park District maintains the property, they should determine which trees to remove.  It was also noted that restriction of access to the property, for a specific individual, would be taken if needed.

The Board requested if anything would be done to correct problems with algae at the pond.  Park District wanted to remove trees and get good air flow to the pond before they address the algae problem.

President Knoup inquired if the Park Board would be interested in maintaining a Memorial Park if one would be put together.  The board will look into it if anything develops.
