Visitors
Kim Plager and Sue Baumgartner were present from the PC Park District to discuss the old Lions Park. The park board and the village board admitted that wrong impressions were made by both boards. The Park District does not plan on putting in playground equipment but may be able to put a few picnic tables and grill at the site. The Village has no plans for the site at this time. The Park district is now under a new board and president and stated that they are unsure of what they have and do not have at this time. They will meet on August 14th and discuss Lions Park and will get back to the Village regarding any decision that they may have made.
Maintenance Report
See attached report
US Tower and Tanks needs to rent a crane and operator in order to remove our old tower.
Streets & Alleys
The curb is in on the John/Center/East St project. Sidewalks and driveways are now being completed and Com-Ed has moved wires. The road crew will be in within the next two weeks to lay the asphalt.
We will not be blacktopping Station St. until the fire department is near completion of their building.
The committee will need to look at curb repair on First St near the Gipe home.
The committee has requested that President Knoup notify the State to see if they will help with the ditch lines along North Main St. to help alleviate standing water.
We will need to stripe the crosswalks as these were not done by the State.
WATER & SEWER
The committee will be using a camera on the lines near the Woker home to look for any damage.
CEMETERY
Committee has selected a bronze marker with black lettering to replace our current ones.
There have been complaints regarding the cemetery mowing. The committee suggests we set policy of do’s and don’ts for the mowing and attach a list of duties that will need to be completed with the mowing. This should help eliminate any questions regarding what needs to be done.
BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS
Jake Grebner is done working for the summer.

The board has received a petition from residents regarding the use of gators, golf carts etc within the village limits. Brian made a motion that the committee will look into this request and come up with a possible solution or ordinance for the next meeting. Motion second by Dave. Motion carried.
