There was discussion on the number of kids crossing Hwy 73 to go to Dollar General. Rob advised that he could add a crosswalk on Hwy 73.
The committee also suggested that all streets be reduced to 20-25 mph speed limit. Board members should speak with residents regarding a change and report at the June meeting.

We will need to add a push bumper, lights, and decals. Fred will get a quote for a new computer for the police car. It could be several months before it is completed and ready for use.
Fred reported in April they had a total of 81 hours with 20 service calls and 8 citations given out. The officers have monitored the speeds at both ends of the village. Most are 8-10 mph over the sped limit. Fred will have the officers make more stops with warnings.
There was discussion on the locks for the police garage. Fred thought it was time to change the locks and keypad code and only give limited access to the room. Tom made a motion to change both the handle lock and deadbolt lock with four keys only. Motion second by Kirk. Motion carried.
