Call to order at 7:00 pm by President Mat
Members answering roll call, President Diehl, Tom Smargiassi, Angie Niehaus, Dean Wright, Mike Tichler, Tim martens, Jamie Melville, and Cheryl Liebenstein.
The minutes from the November meeting were reviewed and accepted without dissent, by Dean. Second by Tim. Motion Carried.
The committee made a motion to pay all bills as presented, with the removal of J&R Supply for $8,680.00 and the addition of Monroe Trucking for $263.16. Motion second by Mike. Motion carried.
Angie made a motion to approve the treasurer report as presented. Second by Mike. Motion carried.
No transfer of funds needed.

WATER/SEWER
The delinquent bills look good with only two needing a notice.
The village will pay half of the roto job at the Kempel duplex since the problem may have partially been on village property. The Cantwell property continuously has sewer plug up with tree roots. The tree is on village property. Board members questioned whether to have the tree removed, repair the pipe or both. Mike will get an estimate on tree removal.
The water reservoir has been inspected. The tank is in good condition but the sealer around the edges and the anodes will need to be replaced.

CEMETERY
Hometown Trophies will have the cemetery memorial plaque done next month.
We will replace one memorial tree in the spring for Fran Dole. The board will no longer replace the memorial trees in the future.
POLICE
The bill will be coming soon for the body cameras.
Tom has not been looking for used vehicles. He wanted the board’s opinion on whether to look at cars or SUV’s. Fred would like to stick with a SUV.
Crime Stop will be giving the village a $15,000.00 donation to use for a purchase of a new squad car. Fred thinks the donation should be coming in June/July.
The officers will need to remind the residents on Main St. and First St. of the snow ordinance. No parking on Main St after a snow fall between the hours of midnight and 6am. We will have this posted to our website.
LIQUOR
Old Business
Gill’s was not present at the meeting to go over the new contract. Josh will need to get the contract to President Mat or come to the January meeting. The contract has been approved so President Mat can sign it at any time.
New Business
January meeting will be held on Tuesday January 2nd.
Tom made a motion at 7:33 to go into Executive Session for the purpose of employee reviews. Motion second by Tim. Motion carried.
The board returned to regular session at 8pm.
Motion was made by Tim to approve the following wage increases effective January 1, 2024. Rob increase to $32.00 per hour, Police increase to $30.00 per hour, 5% increase for the Clerk and Treasurer. Motion second by Tom with roll call vote as follows: Tim-yes, Angie-yes, Mike-yes, Dean-yes, Tom-yes. Let the record show 5-yes, 0-no and 1-absent.
The board wants Help Wanted advertised for part time police officers.
